Oreo Cannolis!

Hey there guys!

If you got really excited by this title, then you’re in the right place because I am going to show you how to make these super easy Oreo Cannolis!  If you’re anything like me and you love cannolis, but you also love Oreos, then put the two together and you have yourself a masterpiece!

But really guys, these are so good, you have to try them out really soon! Maybe even for a Christmas party? hmmm…

What you’ll need:

  • Double stuffed Oreos
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Chocolates for melting
  • Ricotta cheese – not pictured, for some reason I left it in the fridge during my photo shoot.. oops haha
  • Cannoli shells – I found some pre-made shells to use at the store, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you can try out this recipe I found here!
  • A piping bag or ziplock baggie

What to do:

So, first thing you are going to do is to separate the Oreos into two different bowls so that the white cream is on one and the chocolate cookies are in another.

Once that is done, take the bowl with the white cream and add in the mascarpone (I put in the whole container, which was about 10oz) and about a cup of ricotta.  Blend all of that together until it is super smooth and then set aside.

Take the bowl of chocolate cookies and finely crush them by whatever means necessary. You can put them in a food processor or just put them in a baggie and smash the daylights out of them, whatever floats your boat. Once they are in a powder, take about half of the crushed cookies and add it to your filling mixture and combine. Set the rest aside.

Put your filling into your bag and start filling your cannoli shells!

Then to top it all off, dip the ends of your cannolis into the leftover crushed Oreo and then melt some of the chocolate to drizzle on top!

And there you have it! Oreo Cannolis!

What do you think? Sound like something you might be trying sometime soon? I really hope so because they are awesome and relatively easy! I’d love to know what you think if you try them out so let me know!
